Mayu is cast in milk glass with a continuous spiral ribbing that runs the full height of the shade. The surface diffuses warmth evenly, softening the glow to a quiet, lantern-like presence. A slender chrome fitting sits at the crown, and the cord is fully adjustable to place the shade exactly where the room asks for it.

The ribbing on Mayu is not decorative in the conventional sense — it is structural to the light itself. Each horizontal band interrupts and disperses the glow so that the shade reads as a surface rather than a bare source. Are bulbs included with my light fixture?

Bulbs are not always included. This lets you choose the color temperature and brightness that suits your space. Get in touch if you need guidance on the right bulb for a specific fixture.

How do I choose the right light tone for my space?

Warmer tones (2700–3000K) produce soft, inviting light — well suited to living rooms and bedrooms. Cooler tones (4000K and above) are brighter and more energizing, better suited to kitchens and workspaces. Contact us if you'd like a recommendation for a specific room.

What materials are used in your lighting?

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.

What is your return policy for lighting?

Lighting can be returned if unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging within the timeframe outlined in our policy. Custom or made-to-order fixtures are final sale. Please refer to our returns page for full details.
