Sumi is a tall, slim column of solid alabaster, hung from a fine black cord. Its veining is dramatic — dark grey threads drifting through the pale stone like ink bled into paper — and when lit, the whole column glows warm from within, the veins reading deep against the light. Matte black iron caps hold each end, quiet and unfussy. It's a single vertical gesture, sculptural and still, with the kind of natural variation that means no two columns are ever alike. A touch switch brings it on with a tap.
