Tinted glass pressed into a wide, flat ellipse — the colour tones the glow it casts below.

Tama is a tinted glass pendant with an oblate elliptical shade. The glass is wide and low in proportion, keeping the filament visible at the centre. An inner collar of the same glass holds the socket and creates a shadow ring inside the form. The matte-black fittings sit without competing with the glass. It suits a dining table, a kitchen island, or a living room, hung singly or in a group.

The Tama shade is an oblate ellipse of tinted glass, pressed wide and low so the filament sits visible at the geometric centre. An inner collar, formed from the same glass, holds the socket and creates a secondary ring of colour within the form. The five glass colours — Smoke, Blue, Amber, Bronze, and Red — each change the tone of the light the shade casts onto the surface below it.

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.
