Celia is a compact cylinder of solid alabaster suspended on a black braided cord from a turned brass fitting. Lit, the stone becomes translucent — its veining rising to the surface as warmth moves through it — and settles to a low, even glow with no hard edge. Because the veining is the stone's own, no two shades read quite the same.
