The Rowan shade is turned from milk glass, its surface warm where the bulb sits behind it. The form steps down in tiers — a rounded crown over a tapered base — and rests on a turned brass collar that carries a soft patina. Light gathers inside the glass and falls evenly below.

Rowan was chosen for the way light settles inside opal glass — soft, never glaring. The tiered form gives the shade its own shadow line, and the brass collar grounds it without crowding the glass. Hung over a table or in a quiet row, it holds proportion in a room rather than demanding it.
