Tsuyu is a wide, shallow ribbed glass pendant with a brass canopy and socket holder. Vertical channels pressed into the clear glass catch the filament's glow and scatter it outward in fine lines across surfaces below. The open base keeps the bulb visible. It suits a dining table, kitchen island, or a living-room corner, hung at low to mid height.
The ribbed glass does two things: it gives the shade its form and it works the light. Vertical channels pressed into the clear glass split a single filament source into dozens of fine parallel lines that travel across the rim and onto surfaces below. The wide, shallow dome — Ø 30 cm (11.8") across — is a proportion that stays present over a table or island without crowding the space. The brass hardware at the canopy and socket holder develops a surface over time that suits the piece.
