A ribbed glass liner inside a clear globe that casts fine shadow lines across the wall.

Tsubo is a clear glass globe pendant with a separate ribbed glass liner suspended inside it. The vertical ridges of the inner liner break the filament's glow into fine lines of shadow on the surfaces below. A brass fitting holds the two glass layers at the crown. It suits a dining table, kitchen island, or living room, hung singly or grouped at staggered heights.

Tsubo has two layers of glass: a smooth clear outer globe and a ribbed clear inner liner whose vertical ridges are fully visible through the transparent surface. The brass crown fitting sits between the two layers and is seen clearly from every angle. Three sizes — Ø 15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm — hold the same proportion across scales, so the forms group at staggered heights without losing coherence.

• Vertical ribs on the inner liner refract the bulb's glow into fine linear shadow patterns on walls and ceilings.
• Brass crown fitting with petal-form detailing, visible through the transparent globe when unlit.

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.
