Ribbed milk glass that spreads a soft, even glow with no glare.
The Hai Drum is a rounded ribbed milk glass shade capped with a turned wood collar. The vertical ribs distribute light evenly across the full surface of the glass, with no hot spot and no glare. The open base directs a pool of light downward onto the surface below. It suits a dining table or a kitchen island, hung low — singly or in a row of two or three.
The Hai Drum has a low, rounded form: wide across the middle and close in height, so it sits near the surface below rather than floating high. The ribbed milk glass holds the bulb out of sight and releases light as an even, milky glow across the full shade. The turned wood collar sits at the top and keeps the two materials — glass and grain — in plain proportion to each other.
