I put two Saya Batons either side of the bed and the bedroom became a completely different room — not brighter, just warmer. The veining in the stone catches the light differently each evening. Saya is a slim baton of solid alabaster, rounded at both ends and held close to the wall on a small brass disc. Lit from within, the whole length glows warm and even — the stone's soft veining surfacing as the light passes through, casting a low amber wash across the wall behind it.
