Mayu Globe is a silk pendant with a tear-drop form, shaped from two curved panels that meet along a single flowing seam. The silk surface diffuses light evenly — warm amber at the centre, cream at the edge. A slender metal frame holds the form and stays out of view. It suits a dining room or living room, hung as a single pendant or in a pair over a long table.

• Silk diffuses the light through its woven surface — no glare, no cold centre, no visible hot spot.
• The curved seam where the two panels meet casts a soft shadow line that gives the form depth when lit.
• Three sizes: Ø 30 cm (11.8"), Ø 40 cm (15.7"), and Ø 50 cm (19.7") — the same form at a scale to suit the space.
• The metal frame sits inside the shade and is not visible when the light is on.

Bulbs are not always included. This lets you choose the color temperature and brightness that suits your space. Get in touch if you need guidance on the right bulb for a specific fixture.

Warmer tones (2700–3000K) produce soft, inviting light — well suited to living rooms and bedrooms. Cooler tones (4000K and above) are brighter and more energizing, better suited to kitchens and workspaces.

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.

Lighting can be returned if unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging within the timeframe outlined in our policy. Custom or made-to-order fixtures are final sale. Please refer to our returns page for full details.

Most of our pendants come with an adjustable cable, so you can set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the space below it (dining table, kitchen island, etc.). If you need a longer than standard cable let us know before placing your order and we can customise the order to meet your needs.

Fixtures with a UK/EU/AU/US plug can be self-installed. Hardwired options should be installed by a licensed electrician for safety and to comply with local wiring regulations.
