Hira is shaped from silk paper stretched over a curved internal frame, its surface carrying a soft, cloud-like texture that diffuses light evenly across the room. The gently twisted, wing-like form is suspended on fine steel wire from a matte black canopy, hanging almost weightlessly at mid-air. Four sizes allow the piece to work over a dining table, across a living room grouping, or as a single considered statement.

Hira works because the form is allowed to do everything — the gently rolled silk paper surface catches its own shadow, so the shade reads differently through the day as natural light shifts around it. Suspended from three slim wire points, there is no visible hardware to interrupt the silhouette. Grouped in two or three at different heights, the pieces hold a room the way clouds hold a sky.

Are bulbs included with my light fixture?

Bulbs are not always included. This lets you choose the color temperature and brightness that suits your space. Get in touch if you need guidance on the right bulb for a specific fixture.

How do I choose the right light tone for my space?

Warmer tones (2700–3000K) produce soft, inviting light — well suited to living rooms and bedrooms. Cooler tones (4000K and above) are brighter and more energizing, better suited to kitchens and workspaces. Contact us if you'd like a recommendation for a specific room.

What materials are used in your lighting?

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.

What is your return policy for lighting?
