The Asahi floor lamp has a tall, narrow wood frame in a dark walnut finish with a visible grain. A cylindrical fabric shade sits mid-frame, open at the top, and emits an even warm glow across all sides of the shade. The cross base keeps the proportions grounded. The large size at 100 cm (39.4") suits a living room corner beside a sofa; the smaller size at 58 cm (22.8") fits a bedside or a low shelf corner.
