I put two Celia Cylinders above our dining table expecting them to be nice. What I didn't expect was how much the room changed — the alabaster glows in this amber, almost candlelit way that makes dinner feel like an occasion even on a Tuesday. Friends always ask about them. I feel quietly pleased every time I switch them on.

The Celia Cylinder is turned from solid alabaster — a shade that, when dark, reads as pale and veined stone, and when lit, becomes a vessel of warm, diffuse glow. The veining moves through the cylinder's surface in quiet grey and cream threads, rising and deepening as light fills the form from within. Hung on a black braided cord from a turned brass fitting, it turns a flat, functional space into one that feels settled and genuinely warm.
