I placed the floor version next to a dark sofa and the dome keeps the light low and focused — it does not spread up the wall at all. The wood base in the dark stain sits well with the other wood in the room. The table version is on my desk and the three bulbs give enough light to work by without any glare.

Tresa is a floor lamp with a broad aluminium dome shade, Ø 48 cm (19"), mounted on a four-leg ash wood tripod. The dome faces downward and holds three E27 bulbs, which send a warm, concentrated glow toward the floor and into the room below. The tripod base, H 155 cm (61") to the top of the shade, suits a living room beside a sofa or an open reading corner. It is also available as a table lamp, H 52 cm (20.5"), with the same dome on a smaller ash wood base.

Tresa pairs a wide, low-profile aluminium dome with a four-leg ash wood tripod. The dome's downward orientation concentrates light beneath the shade, keeping the glow close to seating height. The ash wood grain — available in dark walnut or natural — gives the base visible weight that suits rooms with other wood furniture.

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.
