An alabaster sphere set in a deep bronze-finish steel dish — the stone diffuses the light from within.

Volta is a wall light built around a solid alabaster sphere seated in a concave stainless steel disc with a dark bronze finish. When lit, the alabaster transmits a warm, even glow through the stone. The steel dish reflects that light back toward the wall. It suits a hallway, a bedroom wall, or a corridor, mounted at eye level. Two sizes are available: Small (Ø 22 cm / 8.7") and Large (Ø 28 cm / 11").

• Alabaster sphere: the stone carries veining and transmits warm light through its surface when the lamp is on.
• Concave stainless steel disc in a dark bronze finish reflects light back toward the wall.
• Two sizes — Small: Ø 22 cm (8.7"), Large: Ø 28 cm (11") — suit different wall proportions.
• G9 bulb fitting, replaceable; wide voltage range 85–265V AC suits all standard mains supplies.

Bulbs are not always included. This lets you choose the color temperature and brightness that suits your space. Get in touch if you need guidance on the right bulb for a specific fixture.

Warmer tones (2700–3000K) produce soft, inviting light — well suited to living rooms and bedrooms. Cooler tones (4000K and above) are brighter and more energizing, better suited to kitchens and workspaces.

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.

Lighting can be returned if unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging within the timeframe outlined in our policy. Custom or made-to-order fixtures are final sale. Please refer to our returns page for full details.

Most of our pendants come with an adjustable cable, so you can set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the space below it (dining table, kitchen island, etc.). If you need a longer than standard cable let us know before placing your order and we can customise the order to meet your needs.

Fixtures with a UK/EU/AU/US plug can be self-installed. Hardwired options should be installed by a licensed electrician for safety and to comply with local wiring regulations.
