Alabaster that glows through its veining and sends light upward along the wall.
The Yuri Cone is a wall sconce with a wide, shallow alabaster cone shade mounted on a cylindrical brass body. When lit, the stone becomes translucent and the dark veining shows through the glow. Light spreads upward from the rim onto the wall above. It suits a bedside wall, a corridor, or a position beside a mirror — mounted at eye level or slightly above.
The cone is a direct, plain form — wide at the top, narrowing to sit on the cylindrical body. The alabaster is thin enough at the rim to become translucent under the bulb, and the natural veining surfaces as dark threads through the glow. The body is offered in a flat black or an aged brass; both finishes are deliberately quiet, so the stone reads as the primary surface. The upward light direction suits a wall that benefits from shadow and depth — a bedside position or a corridor where the forms repeat at intervals.
