A flared cup of stone, lit from within.

The shade is turned from alabaster — its veining drawn out by the warmth of the bulb, the surface holding a soft, milky glow. A slim brass stem narrows at the waist and meets a round wall plate, the metal carrying a brushed, honest patina.

Hana is built around one gesture: a stem that tapers to the waist, then opens into the alabaster cup. The proportion is deliberate — slim enough to feel quiet on the wall, tall enough to give the stone room to glow. Set in pairs, it holds a hallway or flanks a bed without crowding the space.

Each piece is chosen with material as the first consideration - alabaster, marble, ceramic, brass, wood, ribbed and milk glass. Where safety or longevity calls for a different material, we use it sparingly, but natural materials lead.
